How to Choose A Crystal

My name is Rosemary Leach, and I am also known as The Crystal Whisperer.
How did that name come about? I was once in a group meeting where one of the members was channelling a message in light language and then translating it for us. The only part I clearly remember was when she said, “Rosemary, known as The Crystal Whisperer.”
It was such a surprise - everyone felt a mixture of joy, wonder and delight in that moment. And from then on, the name stayed with me.
How I work with crystals
I often work with photographs of crystals. People will send me a photo of their favourite stone, or sometimes I will pull a card from my crystal oracle deck. When shuffling, the card that has a message - or wants to speak - will often leap out of the pack, landing on the floor or in my lap.
November we are celebrating more light coming into Earth. We all have auras, and I am also acknowledging our chakras which have auras around them.
The crystal that wanted to be acknowledged is the rainbow crystal, known as Fluorite. This crystal has different colours and does represents the rainbow colours which bring a joyful feeling when you look at it.
The question that many may be asking –
How Do I Choose My Crystal? or How Do I know this is the Crystal for me?
If you are standing in front of table of crystals, either at a Show, or in a Shop. You may have been drawn to the table of crystals, because of a feeling or wanting a crystal. You may find yourself being drawn to a crystal by its shape, colour, or a feeling/energy. You may have a feeling to pick the crystal up. You hold and admire it, and you may experience an energy or a feeling, a knowing this is mine, this is the one.
You may be walking past a crystal stall at a show and find yourself heading for the table and you suddenly have a crystal or shape that you are heading for. When you pick it up you have this absolute knowing this is mine or you just know you must have this crystal.
I had an experience many years ago and still remember it. I had just arrived at the show and was heading towards the crystal display, which was about 4 meters away. Suddenly I had this energy hit me in the heart area, it was so powerful, and I knew the crystal was for me and went straight up and bought the crystal.
If you are not sure or getting confused, because of all the people and different energies, and conflicting thoughts or energies, and you are unable to be 100% sure. I often body test. I will ask my body to show me a yes and then show me a no. Then I will ask questions that I know the answers are Yes, and questions that I know the answers are No. Like using the date of my birthday, along with other significant timeframes. Same goes with the no questions, that I know the answers are No.
Once I get clarity and am receiving consistent yes and no on the questions. Then I will ask a question Is This Crystal For Me? Or something similar. Or whatever question comes to mind. If I get a yes then its confirmation, I am picking up correctly. I will buy the crystal.
Body testing is a simple way to tune into your body’s wisdom. Stand with your feet grounded and relax your breath. Ask your body to show you a “yes,” and notice how it may lean, sway, or subtly shift—forward, backward, or perhaps even side to side. Then ask for a “no” and observe the difference. Trust these subtle movements as signals from your body’s inner knowing.
When you are at a store or at show, there are a lot of different energies from people looking at and picking up crystals. By body testing for me, helps to get me out of my head and into my heart. Then I can receive the correct answer. Over the years I have learnt to body test very subtly, so my body only moves very gently for a yes or no. If you are drawn to a crystal and feel good about it, and you have knowing this is the one. Then this crystal is also choosing you and you are also acknowledging you are hearing correctly.
Have fun when choosing your crystal and remember you may be drawn to crystal by its colour, shape, feeling, a knowing, or its energy feels good when you are holding it.
