Yarrow... among other things...is a plant of Protection.
The plant has been used for hundreds of years to help keep people safe and protected energetically, whether it be traveling, in work environments, at school or wherever.
Yarrow reminds your energy field what it’s like to feel safe and this can help you to see what it’s like when this feeling of safety chanted and when other outside energies (that aren’t yours) may be affecting you.Yarrow basically reminds your energy field what it’s like to function in a whole intact uninterrupted and healthy state.
Hung on the outside of front doors during the time of the witch hunts, seeing the Yarrow hanging there indicated to those in the know that someone lived there who did healing work. And in turn the plant protected those inside as well. Yarrow is associated with Archangel Michael.
Yarrow essential oil has unique properties; the oil helps to regenerate people’s bone marrow and can be an excellent ally in the case of leukaemia and other illnesses that affect the blood and bone marrow.I do believe that recently Doterra has begun producing a Yarrow essential oil.

Yarrow is known as ‘woundwort’ or wound plant and her leaves staunch bleeding very effectively- and promote injury healing.I was really glad about this the other day when I was harvesting and sliced my finger (nail included), and luckily had Yarrow all around me to help stop the bleeding.
Taken Internally in certain ways, Yarrow can help stop and heal nosebleeds, regulate hormones, ease and heal menstrual problems, boost energy levels, help the liver /life force and effectively alkalinizes the body system.
This plant has been shown to have alchemical abilities; as a good friend Tony once said ...‘in the Himalayas the Yarrow that grows there contains gold - although there is no gold in the soil’.
