Light: Moonstone

My name is Rosemary Leach, and I am also known as The Crystal Whisperer.
How did that name come about? I was once in a group meeting where one of the members was channelling a message in light language and then translating it for us. The only part I clearly remember was when she said, “Rosemary, known as The Crystal Whisperer.”It was such a surprise - everyone felt a mixture of joy, wonder and delight in that moment. And from then on, the name stayed with me.
How I Work With Crystals
I often work with photographs of crystals. People will send me a photo of their favourite stone, or sometimes I will pull a card from my crystal oracle deck. When shuffling, the card that has a message - or wants to speak - will often leap out of the pack, landing on the floor or in my lap.
From there, the images begin to reveal themselves. I see shapes, beings, animals or people within the photo or card. These visions represent the person the message is for, and the guidance flows through what I am seeing, feeling or hearing. When I am working directly with a crystal, the same happens - I glimpse beings, shapes, animals or people held within its light.
I ask the crystal: “What do you want [person’s name] to know? What is your message for them today?” The answers come through automatic writing or spoken channelling, and always offer fresh perspective, encouragement or insight to help someone move forward in life.
This Month’s Crystal: Moonstone
For this issue, with its theme of Light, the crystal who stepped forward to share a message is Moonstone.
Moonstone has long been associated with the Moon. The Ancient Greeks dedicated this gem to their Moon Goddess, and across cultures it has been revered as a stone of feminine yin energy. It is a symbol of love, hope, healing, protection, emotional balance and intuition. Moonstone is believed to enhance psychic awareness, inner wisdom and empathy, while soothing stress and easing anxiety.
