Labradorite, what is your message for this month?

As you gaze at me, you see both the dark and the light. You see a face and eyes looking back on the year that has been, and you see another face illuminated, looking forward to the year ahead.

Both the light and the dark are significant. We need the dark—the low times—to truly appreciate the light and the good times. Yet the dark is not all bad. It reveals what is no longer serving you, what is holding you back. The dark helps you reshape your life and redirect your path. The light, in turn, shines into the shadows, revealing what has been hidden—how certain energies have drained you, created heaviness, or made life feel mundane.

This has been true for many people this past year. Many have felt the weight of negativity, exhaustion, and the quiet wondering: Is it only me feeling like this?

This is why we showed you both the dark and the light—because they belong together. The dark is often the catalyst to pause, reflect, and consider where you are and where you want to go. And what better time than now, when many cultures celebrate the rising of the Pleiades star cluster.

This is a powerful turning point—another New Year—an opportunity to release the old, celebrate the harvest, and feel gratitude. It is also a time to acknowledge the lessons learned over the past year. Many have made changes—some by choice, some by circumstance—and others have stepped onto entirely new paths.

This is a moment to stop, reflect, relax, rest, rejoice, and appreciate what has transpired, while looking forward to new beginnings and fresh starts.

Some may think, I don’t know how, or I’m not able to. But we say: the light is always shining. Look toward the light, not the dark. Even if the light feels dim, focusing on it will make it brighter. Take small steps toward where you want to go. And remember the Sun—the Sun is light as well. Look at the Sun or the Moon; their light will uplift you.

You are in control of your thoughts. You choose whether to think negatively or positively. You can give yourself a hug and say, “I love you.” If you feel embarrassed to do this in public, do it when you are alone. Or simply place your hand on your face, your chest, or your body and whisper, “I love you.” There are many ways to offer kindness to yourself, even among others.

Feel gratitude for the Sun shining—its light beaming onto the Earth and onto you. It nurtures you with its glow, warmth, and joy, caressing you with its rays.

Rejoice in nature. Notice the beauty around you—flowers, trees, birds singing, animals. Find the treasures in nature each day and feel gratitude and appreciation for them. This creates more positive feelings and attracts more good into your life. When you feel gratitude for what surrounds you, you draw in even more blessings—some expected, others unexpected.

Western society has drifted away from the simplicity of life, yet many cultures still celebrate the Earth and nature, for this is your home—your life force. Remember to feel gratitude for the simple things, and soon you will find yourself appreciating an entirely new way of living. We love you, we love you, and so it is.
